Bring Me Blue Skies

The sites slowly coming together now after a week or so of work, it’s also given me something to do! Having no money all the time has not been fun, only 34 days until we leave now though and I can’t wait. I’ve just got most the Locations page done so it shows where and when we’re getting flights between countries, a little vague but we are clueless as to where we’ll end up going between the flights so I’ll update when we’re out there.
At the moment we have planned our basic route travelling through South East Asia:

Travelling South East Asia

We’ll be landing in Bangkok and spending a few days seeing the city, then making our way towards Cambodia and straight on through to Vietnam seeing as much amazing stuff as we can on the way. From here travelling Vietnam along the beaches all the way up to and around the capital Hanoi. This takes us close to Laos which we’re going to go straight through taking in all it has to offer(can’t wait to go tubing in Vang Vieng, among many other things). We’re hoping to be carrying on back down through Thailand and stopping off at some of the Islands like Koh Phangan around the New Year for the full moon party! Its all a bit vague from there on as we head down to Singapore where we’re catching our flight to Cairns and landing in Australia on January 5th 2012. I wonder what Christmas in Thailand will be like?

Travelling Australia

For Travelling Australia we will be sticking mainly to the east coast going between Cairns and Sydney. We have already booked are greyhound coach tickets which are valid for around 3 months along the east coast between the two cities. So we have not really planned specific places to visit in Australia but I have a load of Ideas on where I want want to see and the things I want to do. I know snorkeling and learning to surf are definitely high on my list, but I’ll put up a post in the Travelling Australia section for all the info on places I’m hoping to see soon. From Australia we’ll be heading out on the February 27th 2012 from Sydney and going to Christchurch, New Zealand.

Travelling New Zealand

I have been looking into all the places I want to go and see when travelling South East Asia and Australia that I have not had enough time to look into the rest of the places we are going to be visiting. I know one thing that is definitely on my list for the end of the New Zealand trip when we arrive in Auckland, Sky jumpimg from the Sky Tower. I’ll be having a closer look at what else I can do while travelling New Zealand soon then putting it up on the Travelling New Zealand Page. After around 3 weeks we’ll be flying out from Auckland to Nadi, Fiji.

Travelling Fiji

Once we land in Nadi we will have around 12 days to take it all in which I’m sure wont be enough time. As far as i can tell from what I’ve read about Fiji our best bet to see all the islands have to offer is just do some island hoping and maybe stay in a few different places. Again I’ll go into more of the things I hope to see On the Travelling Fiji Page. On April 1st 2012 we’ll be catching a flight to Los Angeles!

I’ll leave the america part for the next Post because there’s a fair bit to cover. Any advice on places we shouldn’t miss out please let me know! :)
